At our first meeting of the Rubbish Pool Club (RPC), 8 people turned up.  After collecting litter in the park, the members rewarded themselves with a well earned game of pool. It was thought to be a good night out and another way in which members can benefit both the park and themselves and so it was decided to make it a monthly event.

 

The Rubbish Pool Club now meets every  2nd Tuesday and 3rd Wednesday in each month at 6.00pm and if you would like to join it, come along. The club spends the first hour collecting rubbish in the park weather permitting, and then has a knock out pool match which is open to anyone young or old to join in. Trevor Kent the FoKGVPF site manager won the first Rubbish Pool competition and the challenge was set!​
